FPP has over 22 years experience in organizing events dedicated to studying abroad such as Student Fairs, High School Tours, Virtual Fairs, networking events, and more. In March 2020, we will bring our renowned Huddle event to Latin America and what better location to host it than vibrant Bogota?

What?

The Huddle - Study abroad workshops and professional development for college counselors.

Our Huddle is a unique networking event, connecting high school college counselors with international higher education representatives. It is designed to inspire and help you as you navigate through study abroad opportunities for your students. We also want to give you the opportunity to meet with specialist advisers, universities, and government agencies from around the world. The day-long seminar programme will provide a platform to learn about the opportunities available for your students, as well as the more practical side of applying to international universities, such as application processes and finances. You will come away better able to advise your students and with a network of experts to call upon in the future.

When?

Friday, March 27th 2020, 8:30am to 5pm, closing reception to follow

Location: Bogota

How much?

FREE of cost for college counselors or anyone with responsibility for advising students on higher education in schools.

On the day of the event, there will be many opportunities for refreshments and FPP will host lunch and a drinks reception for all participants.

Why?

  • To help you build your network with university representatives and hear directly from the different universities about their programs and what students need in order to apply, be admitted and succeed at these institutions.
  • To connect and maintain relationships with some experienced college counselor colleagues from other schools in the region.
  • To be better informed and able to advise your students about a wider range of opportunities, and so they can make better choices about what’s right for them.

This day-long programme will provide a platform for you to learn about many opportunities and you will come away with a whole host of reasons why students should consider going abroad for their education and how you can support them!
